Upcoming Events

For our early fall meetings, we will hold gatherings to collect native plant seeds at different public pollinator gardens around Brookline: ​

  • ​the Coolidge Corner Library on September 28 at 10am

  • the Brookline Village Library on October 5 at noon

 

​Community Events - Later in the fall, we will do fall garden clean-ups and share about ecological gardening practices at the different public pollinate gardens.​​​​​​​​

Summer 2026

  • June 4, July 2, July 9, August 6, and August 20, starting at 1:30: Seedling give-aways at the Brookline Farmers' Market

​

  • June 9 from 4-6pm: Pollinator garden planting at Emerson Garden

  • June 14 at 1:30pm: Pollinator Garden Tour at Coolidge Corner Library ​

  • June 16 from 4 to 6pm: Pollinator garden planting at the new Public Health Plaza

  • June 18 from 1:30 until 6:30: Native Plant Sale at the Brookline Farmers' Market

  • Monday, July 6, 9:30am - community garden care at the Walnut & Juniper Garden

  • Monday, August 31, 9am - community garden care at Lawton Community Garden

Stewardship Sundays invasive species removal at Dane Park:

  • June 28 from 10-12

  • July 26 from 10-12

  • August 23 from 10-12

Spring 2026

 

  • May 12 from 5:30 to 7:30pm: Seedling transplanting workshop at Coolidge Corner library

  • May 19 at 11 am: Seedling transplanting workshop at the Brookline Senior Center

  • May 30: We gave away seedlings and shared information about native plants plants at Brookline SpringFest

Winter 2026

 

  • January 13 from 6 to 8 pm: Winter Sowing Workshop at Coolidge Corner Library

Winter sowing seedlings: This January, we winter-sowed over 1,000 seedlings 

  • for planting in the public pollinator gardens we care for

  • to give away at the Farmers' market and Town events

  • to share with group members
