About Us
Brookline Pollinator Pathway was created in 2023 by Brookline residents concerned about the decline in insect population. Our mission is to create native plant gardens that will increase insect biodiversity, improve ecosystems, support bird and animal life and improve soil health.

Who We Are and What We Do
Who We Are
We are an active group of over 80 volunteers working in connection with the national Pollinator Pathway initiative, which inspires and supports diverse communities in working to restore and connect habitat for native pollinators.
Anyone who is interested in native plants, pollinators, and local ecology is welcome to join us. It is okay if you don’t have your own garden space, or do not have gardening experience. We have opportunities for volunteers to help plant and maintain native plant pollinator gardens on town lands.
Building a Pollinator Pathway in Brookline
We are creating and connecting public and private native plant gardens in Brookline to build a flourishing pollinator pathway that supports wildlife and strengthens our natural environment in collaboration with the Town of Brookline, the Brookline Public Library, Brookline Public Schools, the Brookline GreenSpace Alliance, the Brookline Garden Club, Mothers Out Front, Friends of Parks groups, the Brookline Farmers’ Market, and many other local groups that are concerned with conservation, sustainability, and environmental restoration.
Creating Connection
