2025 Brookline Pollinator Pathway Events

In 2025, we collaborated with the Town of Brookline to hold a pollinator garden tour featuring thee public pollinator gardens and two private gardens, and we also began holding community workshops about ecological gardening, including a Wisdom Cafe at Putterham Library and a seed collection workshop at Coolidge Corner Library.

Fall 2025

  • 9/4 - 11 am - Wisdom Cafe at Putterham Library.  Sharing with the community about native plants and pollinator gardens.

  • 9/4 - 1 pm - Native plant sale at the Brookline Farmers' Market.

  • 9/16 - 6 pm - Seed collection workshop at the Coolidge Corner library

Summer 2025

  • 6/5, 7/3, 7/24 at 1 pm - Seedling giveaways at the Brookline Farmers' Market.  Free seedlings of bee balm, penstemon, and swamp milkweed will make it easy for you to support wild bees and butterflies in your gardens, roof decks, and balconies. 

  • 7/26 from 3-5 pm - Bee Wild! Check out our North Brookline open pollinator gardens event

Winter and Spring 2025

  • January 6 at noon: Winter Sowing at United Parish Church

  • April 28 at 9am: Coolidge Corner Library garden clean-up.

  • April 30 at 9am: Brookline Village Library garden clean-up.

  • May 11: Lilac Sunday event at Arnold Arboretum - We shared about healthy soil and how native plant gardening contributes to soil health and sustainable landscapes.

  • May 29 from 4-6:30 BHA 22 High St - Face painting and floral designs.

  • ​May 31 from 11-2 Springfest at Olmsted Park - Face painting and floral designs.
